Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.

My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"

Almost an Interview

I almost had an interview today. I was really pumped. Broke out the new navy suit. (If I mean went out and bought it, then yes.) Got the resume polished and ready. And I researched the company. It's called Mecalux. Yes, that's actually the name. I'm not making it up. They manufacture storage systems. Some of their clients include 3M, LG, and Nestle. They are based in Spain and the company began in 1969. (See, I told you I did my homework.) I know more, but won't bore all of you with it. If you really want to know, check it out for yourselves.Anyway, this morning the crazy lady who can't remember my name (she called me Amy today.) from the agency called me this morning to tell me they had to reschedule it for tomorrow. Someone was ill. Something inside me wonders if it's some kind of a test to see how flexible I am or how I respond to "last minute" pressure or something of that nature. I wasn't too thrilled with that thought, so I took crazy lady at her word and took the 10am appointment for an interview tomorrow morning. This sounds like a fantastic opportunity. The position is good. Senior Costumer Service Representative. The pay is incredible. Amazing benefits. The commute slightly questionable but for all the other factors, I'd consider it worth it. I'm trusting. God that is. And I'm praying. I know I'll end up where he wants me. I know that because he is my Direction. And the only thing I need. Please pray with me about this job and the whole of the interview process I've just launched myself into. Thanks guys - I love you all!!!
