Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.

My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"

Friends

Three years ago I was getting ready to move to Arizona. At that time I focused on creating memories with my friends that would last. I don't really remember them. That concerns me. Three years already? Hardly believeable! Had I stayed there I would be finished with my grad work. Instead I pretty much clean bathrooms for a living. Well, actually as of last week that is officially not true anymore...now I'm a "Closet Champion" "Light Bulb Chick" and Administrative Support and Volunteer Leader. Sometimes life doesn't quite go as you plan. I've recently been thinking that I'd like to go back to get my masters someday. However, I think we should likely narrow down the problems in my brain before that venture takes hold. And in the meantime I get cool, albeit it some made up and goofy titles, out of the deal. Life just isn't what you plan sometimes.

I was looking back into some old photos today to take to work and put on my desk. I stumbled upon one of the memories I created before I moved. It was with Trisha at Target. A totally goof-ball, off-the-wall day and you can see that reflected in these pictures. I just thought I'd share these couple with you in light of the last post and my quite about good friends.

What do you do with your friends? You'll see by some of these that I not only walk around stores and hold children's toys for fun, but that I laugh with my friends. I have a great time. Friends are vital parts of my survival and I have no idea how I would get through my life without the amazing people that God has seen fit to bless me with. I have so many wonderful friends and today I am blessed by them - wherever they are.

Here are some of the people who have impacted my life deeply. I love you all dearly and thank you for your support. If you're not pictured it doesn't mean you haven't...I realized doing this I don't have picutres of a lot of people. Time to take more pics!!
