1) Pens are a weakness. I shouldn't be allowed near them in a store.
2) Current Sound Track: Ben Folds...Songs for Sliverman. I saw Ben Folds in concert summer of '05.
3) I cannot fall asleep with my closet door open.
4) Whip Cream = Amazing Dessert (yes, by itself)
5) About 15 years ago I had a pen pal in Russia; her name was Katia.
6) I only like green apples.
7) Shoes with high heels have been suspended from my wardrobe for over a year.
8) Recently I decided to sell my flutes. I played for 7 years.
9) Once my sister and some of our childhood friends attempted to start a band with the goal of overthrowing the New Kids on the Block.
10) I'm afraid of frogs.
Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.
My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Oh my gosh, I can't sleep with my closet door open either. Ryan thinks I'm crazy. The worst part is that it's in my bathroom so I can only really see about a quarter of it. Ryan thinks I'm scared of the boogie man or something. hee hee.
Hey - that's funny! I guess I'm not alone. You should tell Ryan it's not about the boogie man at all. At least I don't think it is. ;-)
