Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.

My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"

New Excersise: Thought of the Day

Sometimes I have these amazing snippets of consciousness and I come up with something that's mildly life changing. Or could be I only I could remember what it was. But most of the time, they just vanish into the abyss of my brain, lost there in half-thought-through-ness.  This phenomenon gets worse when I have to take steroids. The thoughts come more readily  while I'm on these damn drugs, but the memory and impact of them doesn't remain for even the end of the sentence to materialize. My boyfriend would argue that the it isn't the Meds... that's just me.

So, in honor of self-discovery and since I had to begin a short regimen of prednisone today, I'm going to try an excersise in writing down just one small thought a day.

Thought of the Day: I feel like the Android vs. Apple debate is a little like racism for technology. Can't we all just get along, be happy about our unique qualities, and bring them together for the betterment of everyone?
