Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.

My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"

Because of John Grady

John Grady, a man who no longer creates or forms anything, gave me a gift today. His art lives on where his life cannot; his legacy one I will cherish my life long.
John taught me cameras, enlargers, loading film, shooting, developing, printing and frames. Every limited iota of photographic knowledge I have can basically be credited to him. Thank you John - for everything. Thank you for today.

Learning about new people is always fun. The gift I referred to was actually given to me by God, only John made it possible in many ways. Laura is her name. She was in the lab today; my last day in the ECC photo lab. I don't know where this relationship will go, but I know that God has a plan for Laura and I.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope" ~Jeremiah 29:11
