Worked Saturday morning. Signed lease on condo (yes, it's official...well, once the HOA approves the lease it will be....blah blah....). Went shopping at Ann Taylor and fell in love with that store. Spent waaaay too much money on new clothes for work. one must dress for success you know! (Can one be blamed if she also looks adorable while achieving said goal?)
Saturday even was an adventure at the Antheneum Theatre. It had been too long since I'd seen a play and all the work I've been doing on Glass Menagerie made me realize it was about time. (Forget whatever else you've heard as to my reasonings for going...that's not true and you know it!) It was a great night.
Stayed over in the city with Beth Saturday night. 'Twas fun to spend some sister time. WIth her in nursing school that doesn't happen nearly often enough.
Yesterday, ah Sunday! I rested and organized my new clothes and old. Then there was church and out to Max & Erma's with some people I didn't really know. But that's always an fun time.
So there you have my weekend...in less than five minutes. I can't believe it's already Monday morning!
Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.
My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.
Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"
