Back in college, in 2004 when blogging was hardly even a thing yet, I was here. Blogging before blogging meant anything to anyone. You can look in the archives for my past writings, but it was much more like a journal in the past. When we started fundraising, I messed around with the idea of launching something new for this new phase of our journey but actually hated that idea. I am a sum of all of my life and so much of it is here already. So I'm keeping it here. At least for now.

My main focus these days is blogging about our newest journey into the bizarre and wonderful world of gestational surrogacy. Posts dated 2013 and forward will trend heavily toward that journey. I don't promise everything I write will be about though. There might be other things that sneak in occasionally.

Please come along our journey with us. As the saying goes, "The more, the merrier!"

A Midday Surprise

Good noon. I've checked three of the six things off my to do list in two hours. The other three are more involved, one actually means I have to get dressed and go somewhere. I checked my email and received a gift. And then I decided a quick writing break - and then probably lunch would do me well.

Maybe some of you recall the evening in April that I entertained a British boy? Or did he entertain me? Either way, I'm sure you remember what of I now speak. Not in some time, but for a few weeks after that, some of you inquired, "whatever happened to him?" And sure, I've often wondered myself. It was a fabulous night on the town.
Imagine my surprise this noon when I opened my email and in my inbox sat a message from Mr. England himself. Though a little odd six months after the fact, I have to say I was mildly impressed that he held onto my email that long! It put a bit of a grin on my face.

Today is a day for finishing to-do-lists. Mine's half way done. Time to get over my surprise. Keep grinning. God's got plans. Good noon.
